REMINDERS FROM THE PARENT PARTICIPATION COMMITTEE:

Volunteer logs are due June 5.  Please place them in the basket in the hall by the parent participation bulletin board.  Don't forget to add any hours spent on the Spring Jubilee.

Parent Participation Committee meeting is on Friday June 6th from 3:30pm to 4:30pm.  All committee members are encouraged to attend and anyone else who is interested in attending, please do!

THE PACIFICA YEARBOOK NEEDS YOU!

Brandy is leading the effort to get our yearbook published this year and she needs your help (more specifically, your PHOTOS). All parents, students and staff are asked to submit any and all photos you have taken during this school year for possible inclusion in the yearbook. We want to make sure all students are represented.

We want this to be an easy task for you. You may pass on your photos in several ways: give them to Brandy on a CD (if you need a blank CD, some will be available from Carmen beginning Tuesday); e-mail them to brandy@pacificaschool.org AND jkiso62@yahoo.com; send us a link to your photos on a web-based storage system (use above email addresses); give us hard copies to scan (PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOUR ENVELOPE IS CLEARLY LABELED… WE WANT TO RETURN YOUR PHOTOS).

If any of your photos are event-based, it will help us to have the event identified.

EVERY PHOTO COUNTS! You may have a photo of that elusive student who manages to step aside before every shot. This can't happen without your support!

WE NEED YOUR PHOTOS BY FRIDAY, JUNE 6TH - AT THE LASTEST! Sooner is better.

DIFFENDOOFER DAY ANNOUNCEMENTS:

Come see “Hooray for Diffendoofer Day” this Saturday, June 7th at 3:00 PM!!!

We need someone with a video camera to video the Diffendoofer dress rehearsal (Friday 6/6 3:30) and the performance (Saturday 6/7 3:00). If this is something you would be willing to do please contact Carmen in the office 310-845-9405 or by email carmen@pacificaschool.org.

This Friday, June 6th is Dress Rehearsal. We go through the play as if it were a performance.  Costumes, props, (sometimes minimal make-up) and then we get to see if all the pieces actually fit together like we hoped they would.

PERFORMERS: Call-Time for our performance on Saturday, June 7 is 1:00. Please come on time. 

VISION IMPLEMENTATION

Please join us for our first Vision Implementation meeting, this Friday, June 6th at 3:45 pm. We do this every year – it’s our opportunity to discuss what and how implementation of our vision will happen. 

We welcome all community members, and especially urge students to participate. This year we are looking at several issues and will prioritize them at our first meeting.
