REMINDER: STATE TESTING BEGINS NEXT WEEK!

State testing for grades 2 through 8 begins May 12th and runs through May 23rd. We need some help setting up and breaking down on the following days and times:

Set-up:

May 12th, around drop off time

May 19th, by the time school starts

May 16th, around pick-up time

May 23rd, around pick-up time

SPRING JUBILEE IS MAY 31!

Thank you for the great sign-ups for booths! We still need more food booths, so please consider hosting one. It would be fun to have variety and great tastes from different cultures, so if you know how to make something tasty, please share your talent with us all! It doesn't have to be 'your' culture, or anything in particular, just something delish to sell.

We also need more games and activities for and by students. Think about getting together with classmates or other families to host something engaging...  art projects, games of skill and chance, anything you think would be fun.

Also, can you teach something? a dance? a song? Let us know what you would like to contribute to the fun!

This is a great way for us to come together as a community toward the end of the school year and celebrate while raising MUCH needed funds, so please plan to support this important event!

TEACHER APPRECIATION DAY NEXT FRIDAY

On Friday, May 16th, we will once again show our appreciation for our hardworking teachers and staff. Please bring your choice of breakfast, juice, snacks or lunch, paper plates, paper cups and utensils to the office at drop-off or pick-up time.

BEAUTIFICATION DAY NEXT SATURDAY

Join us next Saturday, May 17th for another fabulous Pacifica Beautification Day! Have fun while working off your volunteer hours commitment. Check next week’s Pacifica Weekly for more information, or contact Darby (darby@pacificaschool.org).
