STAFF DEVELOPMENT DAY NEXT MONDAY – NO SCHOOL
Please don’t forget that next Monday, May 5th will be a Professional Development Day. There will be no school that day.
STAFF & ORGANIZATION COUNCIL MEETINGS NEXT MONDAY, APRIL 5TH
Did you know that all community members are welcome to attend Council meetings for the Organization, Staff and Student Councils?
The next Staff Council meeting will be held next Monday at 2:00 pm on campus. Among the agenda items for this meeting are Staff feedback, Evaluations, Project Models, and Fundraising. Organization Council’s Community Advisor (and former Pacifica teacher) Cindy Amezquita will also be present to discuss various topics.
The Organization Council’s next regular meeting will take place on campus from 6:30 – 8:30 pm. An agenda will be sent out on the loop in advance of that meeting, as usual.
SITE COMMITTEE UPDATES
Lost and Found: The Lost and Found is getting full again, so on Tuesday, April 6th, Darby will spread everything out to be claimed. On Wednesday, April 7th, she’ll spread it all out again and let people go shopping. Anything left will be donated to charity on Wednesday. Remember: if you write your name in your stuff, the Site Committee will try to get it back to you.
Garden Update: Notice how beautiful our garden looks? Thanks to all who have helped, especially to Karina Brown who is the quiet and hard working force behind all the changes. Thank you Karina!
TESTING:
State testing begins May 12th and runs through May 23rd. Testing is for grades 2 through 8.
