CAMPUS BEAUTIFICATION DAY A GREAT SUCCESS!

The Site Committee says: “THANK YOU super hard workday workers! We got sooooo much done! (We even risked life and limb to help our school: just ask Chad (Alexis' Dad) who put the rope through the top of the flagpole in front of the School)!” Beautification Days are FUN!

COMMUNITY EDUCATION WORKSHOP: COMPASSIONATE PARENTING

Yet another presentation, brought to you by Pacifica and the Palms Neighborhood Council: Join us on Thursday, December 13th from 7:00 – 9:00 pm for a Compassionate Parenting workshop (part of the Effective Families Series): Deepening our Connection with Our Children: Managing our anger, setting limits with our children with Ruth Beaglehole. Ruth is Founder and Director of the Center for Nonviolent Education and Parenting (CNVEP). This workshop is free and open to the entire community. Limited childcare will be provided. Please RSVP to rsvp@pacificaschool.org

DID YOU KNOW?

Did you know that our before-care program is financed by donations only? We are installing a donation box in the front hall to make donating easier, if you don’t have time to wait to give it to Carmen. You can also drop in any spare pocket change (or bills!) to help keep the Pacifica wheels turning.

IMPORTANT REMINDERS:

If your child isn’t here at 8:55 am, they are missing VERY important learning time! Please be on time!
Please remember to sign your child in each morning. We are still having parents drop their children at the curb! (Exception this week: we have staff members who will help with the drop off between now and Thanksgiving.)
Please do not use your cell phones in classrooms or in the Office Entryway.
All teachers are available to meet with you! If you want to schedule a meeting, please talk with them about a convenient time or drop a note off at the office with your request. They will call you!
