TEACHER APPRECIATION DAY, 12/15

This coming Friday is our last Teacher Appreciation Day of 2006! Please bring in prepared food for breakfast, lunch and snacks for our hard-working teachers to enjoy throughout the day.

2/3/4 LAST DAY OF SCHOOL CELEBRATION 12/15

Please arrive at 11am. Bring food because we love to eat here at Pacifica!! It is a potluck. There will be a review of all of the kids’ activities up to this point as well as a performance at around noon. This will be a lot of fun and we hope you all will be there to participate.

ENROLLMENT UPDATE

It was quite a turnout for our first big Visitor Day for the 2006-2007 school year. Thanks to everyone who helped pull it off. First impressions go a long way, and Pacifica makes one that lasts a lifetime for the children that join our school.

Word of mouth is one of the best ways to increase the awareness of Pacifica in the community. Many of our students found their way to Pacifica through a friend. So, let everyone out there know how proud you are of your school! Even if they don’t have school-age children (or younger), they might know someone that does. First (or second) hand recommendations are better than any advertisement or school-search website.

2006-2007 Visitor Dates

Parents may call the Pacifica office at (310) 845-9405 to schedule an Information Meeting.  After a parent attends an Information Meeting, they may schedule a visit in the classroom with their child.

We do need help with these tours, so if you have time to help set-up or take-down, or greet our visitors, please let me know at Heidi@PacificaSchool.org or leave a note in the “Rudd” box.

REMINDER: This Friday 12/15 is a half day. Pick up is 12:45. Extended aftercare is available for those students whose parents are unable to pick them up at 12:45. Pre-enrollment and pre-payment for this service is required. The fee is $10 for care up until 3:20. After 3:20, regular aftercare billing kicks in. See Carmen in the office to sign your child up and make your payment.
