Are You Curious About Improvements for Next Year?

As you may remember, the Vision Implementation Committee and Teachers’ Council have been focusing on strategic planning, most recently on class configurations and staffing strategies that would best support student growth (academically and socially) and professional collaboration. The Teachers’ Council has developed a draft idea that we would like to present to and discuss with the whole community. We hope that everyone will join us this Saturday, June 17^th at noon (during a Beautification Day break) to eat pizza and share ideas. The whole community is welcome (we ask that students be accompanied by parents). Come early and stay after to help with making our site more wonderful.

CAMPUS BEAUTIFICATION AND TEACHER THANK YOU DAY

Saturday, June 17th, 10:00am – 2:00pm

Join us at the school to help our kids’ teachers close down their rooms and get some maintenance taken care of. Bring your kids, and be prepared for a great time! Bring some food or drink if you can. Darby will bring bagels and cream cheese. Remember how busy our teachers are doing all the wonderful stuff they do for our kids. MANY HANDS MAKE LIGHT, AND FUN, WORK. Pacifica is Hiring

Pacifica's hiring committee is looking for a few new teachers for next fall (we are adding more staff). Explorations Fair

We will be celebrating the culmination of our third round of Explorations on Thursday, June 15^th at 1:00pm with an exhibition of our work. Enjoy museums, performances, and presentations on topics from Edible Art to Metallica. Ask your child which Exploration they are participating in. The entire community is welcome and encouraged to attend.

Family Giving

We are wrapping up our annual Family Giving program for the 05-06 school year. Please follow through on your donation pledge as soon as possible. Your family donations make a huge difference since government funding alon is not sufficient to provide the child to adult ratio Pacifica strives for. Many thanks.
