If you have items to add to the calendar, please e-mail the date and time along with a description to calendar@pacificaschool.org Can You Help Us Do Some Shopping? By Lisa Covington
I am looking for a shopping helper on Tuesday, May 16th to accompany me
to the L.A. Shares warehouse. They are an organization that receives
donated supplies from companies such as the Avery Corp & Expedex.
We would leave from the school around 8:20 to arrive back before lunch time. I am happy to drive, I just need a helper. If you are able or interested, could you please check in with me in the office or send me a note at lisa@pacificaschool.org? Thanks! We Need Help Organizing Parent Education Workshops Pacifica has won a grant from the Palms Neighborhood Council to help us bring back our Parent Education Workshops. We need some volunteers to help us plan, schedule speakers, make and distribute flyers, and more. Community Appreciation
Education either... is used to facilitate integration of the younger generation into the logic of the present system and bring about conformity, or it becomes the practice of freedom, the means by which men and women deal critically and creatively with reality and discover how to participate in the transformation of their world. - Paulo Freire |
